Ten years after our last nomination, we’re once again honored to be part of the German Developer Award – this time with our game “Look Mum No Computer”, created in collaboration with the musician of the same name.

The jury stated:

"Look Mum No Computer creatively combines its musical concept with fitting gameplay to form a fascinating overall experience. In the game, the player can combine individual synthesizer modules and, together with the weapon system, create their own music. The combination of sound synthesis and generative musical behavior is both technically and artistically well executed. Through the player’s actions, a vibrant and ever-changing soundscape emerges that perfectly matches the game’s character and vision. Look Mum No Computer is an impressive example of how music and gameplay mechanics can stylistically merge into an interactive piece of sound art."

For us, this nomination is not only recognition of the project itself, but also of the idea of treating music as a form of interactive expression. Look Mum No Computer represents creative freedom, experimentation, and the fusion of sound design and gameplay into a unique experience.
